Overview

Join the queue

Customers add themselves to a virtual queue, either online or at the location. They can opt for either an in-person or an online appointment. They do not need to stand in line or stay at their phone or computer, so they are free to do other things while they wait.

Notification

Online visitors are reminded of their appointment via SMS. In-person visitors can opt to receive either a mobile notification or a printed ticket. Staff members are notified of the next person in line, and whether this is a physical or virtual appointment.

Appointment

Staff handle each appointment in order, switching between in-person and online as required.

Benefits

  • Increase choice: Customers can choose the most convenient way to contact you, depending on their preferences, needs and circumstances. They do not need to visit the location or stand in line to speak to an associate if they do not want to.
  • Reduce abandonment: if a customer at the location decides not to wait, they can book an online appointment and leave, while ensuring they do not lose their place in line, and reducing abandonment.
  • Improve service: virtual appointments allow customers to set up an online meeting with the most suitable person. They can speak with a specialist directly, even if they do not work in a nearby location.
  • Reduce missed appointments: customer reminders minimize missed appointments which reduces wasted time.
  • Increase productivity: staff reminders ensure a streamlined workflow. They can transition seamlessly between in-person and virtual appointments, making more efficient use of their time.
